James, who is approaching his 21st season and has scored 10 or more points in 1,151 consecutive regular-season games, will look to continue extending that longest streak in NBA history in the Los Angeles Lakers' season opener on Oct. 24 against the defending champion Denver Nuggets.

Another superstar, Stephen Curry, holds the NBA record for three-pointers made (3,390 three-pointers) and will also continue to look to improve his three-point scoring record. Curry has made at least one three-pointer in 245 consecutive regular-season games, setting the record for the longest streak of three-pointers made in NBA history. He also holds the record for multiple three-pointers made in 56 consecutive regular season games.Curry will continue to chase these records and showcase his outstanding shooting ability when he and the Golden State Warriors host the Suns on October 24th.
